Evaluation

This collateral screen grab i think was really influential in my idea of our film. I think this shot is fantastic has it clearly shows both the antagonist (left) and the protagonist (right) in obvious conflict.

I think Foxx's portrayal of a man who is reluctant to be in the situation he is in. Like Smith the antagonist has a hold over him and he must do what he is asked or else fatal consequences.

This shot shows the typical conventional depiction of good against evil. I think Cruises portrayal of a emotionless villain, gave me the idea of donning that on our antagonist to make him also seem fearful and relentless. This is usually the conventions of a thriller villain to add tension between the two characters.

So in comparison, Foxx like Smith is a reluctant hero like character, and must save himself from the situation he is. This gave me the idea for Smith. He is strong yet smart but always seems to be one step behind his antagonist.

Our Protagonist on the other hand depicted by Cruise in Michael Mann's image of a thriller baddie. However instead of given him the misleading light suit i decided that my character would wear black to allow the audience to clearly differentiate both characters. His fearful persona and aura of ruthlessness as well as an over powering voice gives my protagonist a very believable personality.

The social group represented by the film 60 seconds will affluent group. The film is based in the secret world MI5 and these people would be wealthy.
