Thriller Rough Cut.

26-03-10.

Today, we have more or less finished our 'Rough Cut' of our thriller. In our rough edit, we more or less layed down the particular order we wished the sequence to flow. However, it still lacks sound and title sequences, which will be layed on later as we elaborate on the editing of the clip to try polish it completely. Currently, the uploaded footage only consists of fully edited rushes, layed in the sequence we wanted it in, with a few sound transitions.

Later on, we hope to dissolve the sound so that it's less jarry by adding more sound transitions, lay on a non-diegetic track, to gradually build up the tension, as well as add non-diegetic sounds such as heartbeats and clock ticks. Furthermore, we would like to add a split screen during the running scenes so that we can save time, for the addition of other footage. As the editing progresses, we would probably start adding some video transitions such as cross fades and dissolves in between scenes to help the sequence flow more smoothly.
